Among the worlds’ advanced economies, Hong Kong has the extreme disparity between the rich and the poor. An estimated figure of 1.25 million people live below the poverty line. Many of those could be found living in cage houses and cubical flats with poor living conditions.
$1,300 Internet Surfing Subsidy to CSSA Recipients

In 2010 Budget Plan, a $1300 subsidy of internet access charges is proposed. Each family receiving Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) with children studying in primary and secondary schools will be benefited.
